In my past life I dabbled in photography.. OK three years ago. My photography taking days kinda got taken over by product photos ever since I started making jewellery. Lately I have been inspired by the hundreds of beautiful blogs featuring amazing fashion photography and I wanted to share...^

As you can probably tell I love the wispy fairy tale vibe photos and I recently shot photos for my fall 2010 collection with this in mind, but it didn't work out. Partly due to the atrocious yellow back ground I had to work with and that you couldn't see any of the jewellery with all of the photo shop effects. I am still playing with the photos and am leaning towards black and white with a pop of colour, but we will see. ;)

Fall Anticipation

I don't know about you, but I am eagerly awaiting the cooler fall months. The months where I can truly wear anything! Jeans, sweaters or tanks it doesn't matter because it is that perfect temperature to layer! :) I love layers!

Handmade Comfort and Style

Everyone needs that piece of clothing in their wardrobe that can be worn with just about anything. I love shopping on Etsy for gifts and of course things for my self. I want to share that experience with you so I have put together some cute outfits below. All from Etsy!In this picture... Sleepy Moon Elliptic necklace in sterling silver. This necklace is a great little everyday necklace for the woman on the go. You can literally fly out the door with out thinking because it is going to match anything you are wearing. Art Affect Everyday Pencil Skirt is the perfect staple piece for your wardrobe. I can't tell you how many times I have thrown on a simple pencil skirt with my shirt either tucked in or loose. It looks great!

In this picture... Conscious Clothing Striped Hemp Racerback Cowl Dress This dress looks super comphy and I can't live without a dress like this. They are easy to wear and can be paired with leggings, a belt or even jacket for a whole new look. Be Something New Brown Leather Flower Headband This head band is super cute while still being neutral with the browns and light blues. I bought my first headband on Etsy and I am hooked. I am especially excited to have it for the summer because it will be so easy to keep my hair out of my face in the hot weather!

Silver Dipped Leaf Jewelry

New designs are added to my Etsy shop every day and one of the newest collections are the silver dipped leaf necklaces. I loved these leaves as soon as I found them. Their details are so intricate and eye catching and the silver grey tone looks amazing with any and every colour imaginable! I knew they had to be part of my spring and summer collection.

Herban Devi Handmade Clothing

Wooh! I spent what could have been hours yesterday browsing through this amazing handmade clothing shop called Herban Devi!(click on the picture to visit her shop)

I absolutely love her hoodie scarves! I like how you could make any shirt a hoodie. I also like how comfortable her pants and basically her whole line of clothing looks. Very soft and good for relaxing in.

This shirt is now on my wish list! Yay!

The white hoodie is by InnerEvolution and I love the unique hood and neck on this sweater.

The brown hoodie is by Sandmaiden and I love the frills and feminine look to it.
