This necklace's stone is so pretty I just love the red stone. I am so excited to share it with everyone! I made a necklace just like this one, but in pink for my great grandma. It is her 90th birthday. I hope she likes it! See necklace here.

Jewellery For Your Tree

I am now making these new Christmas ornaments I like to think of them as
jewellery for your tree!

I will be making single ~One Of A Kind~ Gemstone decorations as well as sets of four, six and eight, matching ornament sets. These would make perfect gifts for a loved ones first Christmas away from home, an office Christmas tree or gift exchange even parents and grandparents!
I have designed them so that I can keep them very affordable! Though if you want to go all out I will gladly take custom orders.

Its almost time to start Christmas shopping and if your doing your Christmas shopping online or on Etsy you will want to order things even earlier because you have to take shipping time into account. I know I have been checking things as favourites for future present ideas. I know that I am going to get everyone a different handmade soap and maybe some lip balm. Sweet Deals

Weather you feel that your prices are to high or to low people just don't seem to feel confident with their pricing strategies. Goal Of The Day

My goal of the day...
My goal today is to improve the SEO of all the descriptions on my items in my Etsy shop.

Eggs

I oxidize all my jewellery with eggs... yes I said eggs!
I believe that this is a great way to oxidize because it is all natural, doesn't use any chemicals and is also pretty cheap! Read this article on how to do it...here.
If you are just starting out and do not know how to handle some of the chemicals used in oxidizing this is great for seeing if you like the oxidized effect! I don't see any reason to move on to other ways of doing it thought!

Oh yes... my jewellery does not smell like eggs after!!

Tag Finder and Stat Finder

Craft weasel has come out with this new fantastic tool to help you with your tagging! I tried it and it showed me not only a whole bunch of tags that might go with my item but it shows you a graph of price, a graph of views per day, a graph of the tags that are most viewed and so on. I think I will be using this tool quite often to try and get the most productive tags possible!!! Check it out!

Also try out the Stat Finder. You can get your own stats on which tags are working for you. All you have to do is type in your Etsy shop name. It's so easy! Check it out!

Work Space Almost Complete

This is my new studio workspace in my very own home!

I am very excited to start working in my own little area! It is going to be way better than working on the dining room table and having to clean everything up for lunch and dinner time! I still have a few storage problems that I need to tackle though!

I never know where to store my jewellery designs after I have made them. It can get to be a lot of jewellery to store! Right now I am keeping them all in there own little plastic zippy bags, but I don't like the thought of wasting all that plastic.

One of the ideas that I have thought of is getting a little metal filing cabinet with shallow but skinny drawers that I can lay those black jewellery display trays in and stack them maybe three high in each drawer. Then I can lay the necklaces and earrings out neatly on them without them getting tangled!

Does anybody else have any jewellery storing tips for me? How do you store the jewellery that you make? I would love to here any suggestions!
